I like the new font for the SK logo because it reminds me of stiching. Don't be so hard on yourself, because it's good business to be aware of what's going out and what's not coming in, but it's going to be a very sudden turnaround to having lots to do and getting paid for it. Like right after Halloween I might guess. Once you're going on the website, I really want to post a permanent link, so please consider making a button for all of us who'd love to do that!

Ooo, yeah, I want a link button too as soon as your site is fully live! Don't doubt yourself. Everyone here could tell you that you made the right decision in leaving shit job! You were miserable and unfulfilled there. You couldn't stay. Even if you didn't have SK, you'd have had to leave and find something else. I believe in you and your abilities. You certainly have the talent. It would be a crime not to give it a go. Don't keep worrying about it not working out. It WILL work out!! But even on the almost impossible chance that it doesn't, you did the right thing!! So stop panicking. And just wait, once all the mundane but hectic business start-up crap is out of the way, and the business gets underway, word will get around and you'll become the success we all believe you are! xx

yes! yes, yes, yes, quitting a job you hated was the right thing to do! in my experience, the uncertainty involved in being self-employed is far, far outweighed by the satisfaction, freedom and newly available opportunities of being your own boss.

Hey, can I tell you that I have been self-employed now for 13 years and STILL know how you feel, cuz i feel like that about 80% of the time? Sometimes I feel like I am on top of everything, like when I have lots of well-paying work, and can afford to hire someone else to wash my dishes and walls! Otherwise even when I am working hard, the dishes pile up, and the lawn overgrows and I feel like I am running on a treadmill with the goal about three feet ahead of where i can reach. And hell, I've bought a 5-plex (started out on welfare, living in a totally rundown threeroom apartment, heating only one room and living on about $30 a week besides rent and food). You're doing GREAT!! hell, business cards, website, toll free number! My first business cards had the PHOTOCOPY CENTER fax # on it cuz I couldn't afford a fax myself! You rock there, Sleepyzoe! You are rolling you are rolling you are rolling! Hugs and lots of self-assurance I send you. :)

I saw your diary banner and thought it was beautiful. I absolutely love, love, love, love, your layout. Mine was pink and black, but I decided to be political...until after the elections. It doesn't make me popular, but I hope people don't judge me because of who I support. Beautiful diary.
