Anyhow, we had lots o' fun, and for the first time in...oh, a YEAR maybe...I didn't have an aching back and knots in my shoulders. I think this rare phenomenon is called 'relaxing'! A very odd concept indeed!
So feast your eyes upon my photo entry - just a few of the things I saw over the loooong weekend.

This says it all!
The best part of it all:
CP surprised me with S ocial D istortion tickets for Wednesday (our first night in Vegas) at the H ard R ock Casino.
This was especially cool, because they're one of my favorite bands, and the Columbus show in February was cancelled.
At first, I wasn't having such a great time, because we'd been up since 3:45 am (Ohio time), flown, went through all the airport/hotel/general travel crap...and even though we'd taken a nap, I was simply exhausted. The opening band was so horrible, they actually made me angry - all I wanted was to get to bed and Blissful SlumberLand, even if Social D was playing. I was *that* tired.
During the first few bars of Social D's, set, CP leans over and gives me a big makeout kiss. At first, I'm completely annoyed because I hate hate hate when people make out in public, and I can't understand why he's doing that to me...when suddenly I feel something in my mouth.
I pull out a ring, and look at him, stunned, with my mouth hanging open. I blink a few times, and he says, "Will you be my wife?" I just hug him, and give him one of those big makeout kisses I so hate to see in public...I'm choked up, teared up, overwhelmed with emotion and exhaustion. Finally, what seems like an eternity later, I say, "YES!"
Needless to say, it was the best concert I've ever seen!
